Anti-wrinkle injections are designed to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They contain a purified protein derived from botulinum toxin that relaxes the muscles responsible for causing wrinkles, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Preparation: The treatment area is thoroughly disinfected. Numbing is not typically used as the treatment is well tolerated with minimal discomfort.

Injection: The solution is injected with a fine needle into the targeted muscles beneath the skin. Mild swelling or redness may occur but will subside shortly. The practitioner will provide you with post-treatment care instructions to minimise any potential side effects and ensure the best results.

Follow-up: A follow-up appointment will be arrange after 2 weeks to assess the need for a top-up to achieve best results.

You may start to notice initial improvements within a few days after the treatment, but the full effects of the anti-wrinkle injections usually become visible within 1 to 2 weeks. Results typically last around 3 to 4 months, after which the muscle action gradually returns, and wrinkles may begin to reappear. Regular maintenance treatments can help prolong the desired results and reduce the formation of new wrinkles over time.
Healing after anti-wrinkle injections is generally quick. You might experience some mild redness, swelling, or small injection-site bruises, which should subside within a couple of days. Most people can return to normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. It's recommended to avoid vigorous exercise, alcohol consumption, and extensive sun exposure on the day of treatment.
